4.2 Battery Replacement
The battery status is indicated by bars on the display:
• Batteries full: 5 bars visible
• Low battery level: 0 bars visible.
The battery symbol flashes. The device is still operational. It is
recommended to replace the batteries now.
• Batteries empty:
The device is no longer operational. The batteries must be re-
placed for the device to function again.
 1. Switch off the device.
 2. Remove the rubber protection cap (if re-
movable).
 3. Loosen the screws of the housing.
 4. Lever the rear cover off.
 5. Replace the batteries (LR6 - AA).
Pay attention to the polarity!
NO HOUSEHOLD WASTE
Batteries must be disposed of.
 6. Check the condition and fit of the gasket.
 7. Replace and align the rear cover.
 8. Tighten the screws (torque: 0.6 Nm).
