GRIL 1223
• The use of any electric appliance involves compliance with certain basic
rules. In particular:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands;
- never use the appliance with bare feet;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the
wall socket.
- never leave the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed to the
weather conditions (rain, such, etc.);
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
• Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes
faulty and/or operates in an incorrect way. Repairs must only be carried
out by a customer service centre authorized by the manufacturer. Always
insist on genuine spare parts. Failure to comply with this recommendation
could impair the safety of the appliance.
• Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to
render it unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed the
plug from the power socket. Also make sure that all parts of the appliance
liable to constitute a danger are made harmless, particularly for children
who could decide to use an old appliance as a toy.
The installation must be carried out following the manufacturer
instructions. A wrong installation could cause damages to people, animals
or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered liable.
• To avoid dangerous overheatings, to straighten the whole power cord
and to use the appliance as described in the "FUNCTIONING" paragraph
is recommended.
• Do not leave the appliance unnecessarily inserted. Disconnect the plug
from the mains power supply when the appliance is not used.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation and heat elimination openings or fissures.
• If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be changed
exclusively by a technical assistance centre authorized by the manufacturer,
since special tools are necessary.
