1. INTENDED USE
 WARNING
This device is intended to massage individual parts of the human
body. It cannot replace medical treatment. Do not use the massag-
er if one or several of the following warnings applies to you. If you
are unsure whether the massager is suitable for you, please consult
your doctor.
• Do not use the device on animals.
• Do not use the device if you suffer from a medical abnormality
or injury in the area to be massaged (e.g. slipped disc, open
wounds).
• Under no circumstances use the device for massages in the
area around the heart if you wear a pacemaker – and consult
your doctor regarding other parts of the body.
• Never use the device on swollen, burnt, inflamed or injured skin
and body parts.
• Do not use the device on cuts, capillaries, varicose veins, acne,
couperose, herpes or other skin diseases.
• Do not use the device during pregnancy.
• Do not use the device on the face (eyes), the larynx or other
particularly sensitive body parts.
• Do not use the device for foot massages.
• Never use the device while sleeping.
• Do not use the device after the consumption of medicines or
alcohol (reduced cognition!).
• Do not use the device in a vehicle.
You should consult your doctor before using the
device, especially
• if you suffer from a severe illness or have recently had surgery
on your upper body,
• if you have implants or other aids,
• if you suffer from thrombosis,
• if you suffer from diabetes,
• if you are suffering from pain, the cause of which is unknown.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these in-
structions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage result-
ing from improper or careless use.
2. WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES
 WARNING
• Danger of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from
children.
 WARNING
Electric shock
• Never attempt to repair the device yourself!
• Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical de-
vices.
As with every electrical device, use this massager carefully and cau-
tiously in order to avoid danger due to electric shock.
Therefore, observe the following instructions for use:
• Use the device only with the mains adapter provided and at the
mains voltage specified on the mains adapter.
• Never use the device if it or its accessories show visible signs
of damage.
• Do not use the device during a storm.
In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off
immediately and disconnect it from the mains socket. Do not pull on
the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the mains adapter
from the socket. Never hold or carry the device by the mains cable.
Keep the cables away from hot surfaces. Do not crush, bend or twist
the cables. Do not insert needles or any sharp objects.
Ensure that the massager, control, mains adapter and cable do not
come into contact with water, steam or other liquids. Therefore, only
use the device in dry rooms (e.g. never in the bath, sauna).
Never pick up a device that has fallen into water. Disconnect the
mains plug immediately. Do not drop the device or subject it to any
impacts.
 WARNING
Repairs
• Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical
devices. Improper repairs may put users in significant danger.
For repairs, please contact Customer Services or an authorised
retailer.
• The inner zip fastening of the massager must not be opened. It
is only used for technical production reasons.
 WARNING
Risk of fire
There may be a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these
instructions for use are ignored.
The massager must therefore be operated as follows:
• Never use the device underneath a cover, such as a blanket,
pillow, etc.
• Never use the device near petrol or other highly flammable sub-
stances.
 WARNING
Handling
• The device must be switched off and disconnected after every
use and before cleaning, except when it needs to be charged.
• Do not place your full weight (sitting, lying down or standing)
on the moving parts of the device or place any objects on the
device.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
 WARNING
Notes on handling batteries
• If fluid from a battery cell comes into contact with your skin
or eyes, wash the affected areas with water and seek medical
assistance.
• Choking hazard! Small children could swallow and choke on
batteries. Therefore, keep batteries out of the reach of small
children!
• If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves to dispose of
the device.
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
• Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
• In order to achieve as long a battery service life as possible,
fully charge the battery at least 2 times a year.
• Always switch the device off in advance of charging.
• Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions
from the manufacturer and the specifications in these instructions
for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.
