• Risk from power while using improper electric connecting cables.
• Risk to health from running cutting disc due to long hair and loose clothing. Wear personal protection equipment like hair net and tight-fitting working
clothes.
• Even after taking all the necessary precautions, not apparent residual risks cannot be ruled out completely.
• Residual risks can be minimized if the ''safety instructions'' and the ''proper use'', as well as operating instructions are observed jointly.
Before start-up
Replace cracked diamond cutting discs.
• Get to know your machine. Familiarize yourself with its use and its restrictions, but also with the specific potential risks.
• Check the machine carefully for damages to ensure that it is able to achieve the intended output. In case of doubt, please replace the concerned component.
• Ensure that the switch is off, before inserting the power plug into the mains socket.
• Ensure that the machine is cleaned and lubricated properly.
• Before start-up, check the machine for damaged parts and find out whether these parts are working properly and performing their defined function. Check
the alignment of all moving parts, all broken or fastening parts, and all other conditions that can affect smooth operation. Each damaged part should be
repaired or replaced by a technician immediately.
• Do not use the machine if a switch cannot be activated/deactivated correctly.
Operation
• Install the machine on an even, slide-proof floor.
• Check that the voltage on the nameplate matches the existing voltage; connect the power plug to the mains power supply only thereafter.
• The cutting disc should be free to run before the machine is switched on.
• Caution: Cutting disc must always be cooled with water.
• Caution: Cutting disc runs with a time lag.
• Under normal use conditions, the motor casing can become hot.
• Do not use force on the machine or on an accessory to achieve the performance of a bigger Industrial machine. It does a better job at the output for which
it is designed.
• Define all machine settings only when it is switched off.
• Do not leave the machine unattended as long as it is running.
• During shutdown, leave the machine only after it comes to a complete standstill.
• Always switch the machine off before pulling out the power plug from the mains socket.
• Always pull out the power plug. Never disconnect the power plug from the mains socket by pulling at the cable.
• Do not use cutting discs that do not meet the size specifications.
• Do not carry the machine by the cable.
• Do not work with the machine if you are not sure whether a working condition is safe of unsafe.
Assembly (Fig. 4-10)
For packaging purposes, your machine is not fully assembled.
1. Carefully remove the machine from the packaging and set it aside on the ground.
2. First fold out the supporting foot (11) without transport rollers up to the stop. Then lock the screw upward in the oblong hole in order to fix the foot (Fig. 7, 8).
3. Repeat the process with the 2nd foot, with transport rollers.
4. Place the machine on the feet.
5. Place the water pump (18) in the holder of the water tube and insert the sealing plug in the drain of the water tube (8). (Fig. 9,10)
6. Fill the tube with water so that the pump (18) is covered with water at all times (also during operation).
Attention!
The water pump may never run dry. It must always be covered with water during operation.
Mounting the roll slide (Fig. 11)
1. Place the roll slide (cutting table) (6) on the roll table guide rail (9); in the process, the frame (a) of the two right guide rollers covers the guide rail. Simply
place the two left guide rollers on the guide rail.
2. When you are standing in front of the stone cut- ting machine, the scale must face towards you. The 90° cutting wheel gap is to the left in the roll slide (6),
the 45° cutting wheel gap is to the right.
3. The cutting table must roll easily. Make sure that all four rollers are on the guide rail (9).
Mounting the lever screw for the cutting head pivoting device (Fig. 12)
1. Remove the hexagon screw with a 30 mm open-ended spanner.
2. Fit the lever screw (d) of the cutting heat pivoting device on the thread and tighten it.
Mounting the longitudinal aligning stop (Fig. 13)
1. Place the longitudinal aligning stop (13) on the stop rail with scale (7) on the roll slide (6).
2. Align the longitudinal aligning stop (13) at the appropriate distance to the cutting wheel (14).
3. Fix the longitudinal aligning stop (13) by tightening the locking lever (b)
