5. Access to the camera
5.1 Please note the serial number on the product label.
The serial number is the same as the MAC address of
the network camera (NOT IP address).
Example: 00058b123456 = 00-05-8b-12-34-56
5.2. Assign an IP address
a) Please install and run the ABUS IP Installer from the supplied software CD.
b) The software will search for installed Eyseo IP devices on the same local network.
5.3. You will get a list of all found IP cameras and IP videoserver in your network.
Please mark one list entry and press „Connect to IE" in order to connect the network camera.
If there is no DHCP server in the your network available (automatic assignment of IP addresses), then
the network camera will try to find a valid IP address in the range of 192.168.1.2 – 192.168.1.254.
6. Connect to the camera
6.1. Please type the IP address into the address bar of your Internet Explorer (e.g. „http://192.168.1.2").
6.2. The standard procedure to connect to the camera is using the adminstrator account. The username
is „admin" and the passord is „admin". If the Internet Explorer blocks the download and installation oft
he needed ActiveX plugin, please lower the security setting of your internet explorer.
