Preparing Fixture for Wiring

Using wire cutters, trim the electrical cord o near 6 in. /152,4
mm from the back of the fixture. Carefully, use a wire stripping
tool to remove 1 in./25,4 mm of the outside cord installation.
Next, remove around a 1/2 in./ 12,7 mm of insulation from
each wire with the same tool.
IMPORTANT
Attach the mounting strap to junction box

Using two small or medium box screws, attach
the mounting strap to the junction box and pull
the ends of the supply wires out of the junction
box.

SHUT OFF POWER TO THE JUNCTION BOX
BEFORE INSTALLING THE FIXTURE.

Be extra careful not to damage the
insulation around both wires held
inside the cord.
For Surface Box Mounting ONLY:
Remove the protective liner from the gasket, align
the center hole of the gasket with that of the
mounting strap, and apply the gasket to the outer
edge of the surface mounting box as shown.

The side stamped "FRONT" needs
to face away from the junction box.
