1. GENERAL
If you have any queries concerning
technical details or the suitability of
the pressure transducer for your
application, please contact our
sales/technical department.
HDA 3400 pressure transducers
are individually calibrated on a
computer-controlled test rig and
subjected to a final test.
They are maintenance-free and
should operate perfectly when
used according to the
specifications (see Technical
Data). If faults do nonetheless
arise, please contact
HYDAC Service. Interference by
anybody other than HYDAC
personnel will invalidate all
warranty claims.
1. GÉNÉRALITÉS
Chaque capteur de pression
HDA 3400 est étalonné et soumis
à un test final. C’est pourquoi nous
garantissons que l’appareil livré ne
possède aucun défaut et
correspond aux spécifications
techniques. Si l’appareil devait
toutefois présenter un
dysfonctionnement, veuillez le
renvoyer à l’usine avec une
description du défaut.
La garantie n’est plus applicable
dès lors que le matériel a été
ouvert par une personne non
habilitée à cet effet.
Si vous avez des questions
concernant les données
techniques ou l’adaptation de
l’appareil à votre application,
veuillez consulter notre service
technique.

2. ASSEMBLY
The pressure transducer can be
fitted directly to the hydraulic
system via the G¼" threaded
connection (DIN 3852). In order to
prevent mechanical destruction in
critical applications (e.g. strong
vibrations or knocks), we
recommend that the HDA 3400 be
mounted using a clamp with
elastomer insert (e.g. HYDAC
HYROS HREL 6 C 26.9 PP, stock
no. 435812), and that the hydraulic
connection is decoupled via a
Minimess line. The recommended
mounting position is vertical with
the pressure connection pointing
upwards. The tightening torque
should be approx. 20 Nm
(or approx. 45 Nm when using
a G½" adapter).
The electrical connection
should be carried out by a
qualified electrician according
to the relevant regulations
of the country concerned
(VDE 0100 in Germany).
The pressure transducers
HDA 3400 carry the
mark.
A declaration of conformity is
available on request.
The EMC-standards: EN 50081-1,
EN 50081-2, EN 50082-1 and
EN 50082-2 apply.
The requirements of the standards
are fulfilled only if the pressure
transducer housing is earthed
correctly by qualified personnel.
When fitting the pressure
transducer into a hydraulic block it
is sufficient if the block is earthed
via the hydraulic system. In the
case of hose-mounting, the
housing must be earthed
separately.
Additional assembly notes which,
from experience, reduce the effect
of electromagnetic interference:
l Make line connections as short
as possible.
l Use screened lines
(e.g. LIYCY 4 x 0.5 mm
l The cable screening must be
fitted by qualified personnel
subject to the ambient
conditions and with the aim of
suppressing interference.
l Direct proximity to connecting
lines of user units or electrical or
electronic units causing
interference must be avoided as
far as possible.
