WARNING
Feed Rupes BIGFOOT NANO Hybrid tool only with its Rupes Power Supply 9HP120LT. Other types of
Power Supply may cause personal injury or damage. Do not wire the tool to another power supply plug or car
cigarette lighter.
Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use power supply and tool in rain, snow, damp or wet locations. Do
not use power supply and tool in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or flammable
materials) because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing power supply, possibly causing fire.
Use in a well ventilated area. Do not block power supply vents. Keep them clear to allow proper ventilation. Do
not allow smoking or open flames near the power supply. Vented gases may explode.
Maintain charger cord. When unplugging the power supply, pull plug rather than cord to reduce the risk of
damage to the electrical plug and cord. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp edges. Make sure cord will not be
stepped on, tripped over or subjected to damage or stress. Do not use power supply with damaged cord or plug.
If have a damaged cord bring the power supply immediately to a Rupes service center to have it replaced.
Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary. Using the wrong, damaged or improperly
wired extension cord could result in the risk of fire and electrical shock. If an extension cord must be used, plug
the power supply into a properly wired 16 gauge or larger extension cord with pins that are the same number,
size and shape as the pins of the Power supply. Make sure that the extension cord is in good electrical condition.
Power supply is rated for 100-130 Volt AC. For technical data refer to the label of Power Supply 9HP120LT.
Power supply must be plugged into an appropriate receptacle.
Unplug power supply when not in use. Remove power supply from the socket.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always remove power supply from the tool when not in use or before
cleaning or maintenance.
Do not burn or incinerate tool Power Supply. Toxic fumes are emitted when power supply is burned.
Do not crush, drop or damage tool power supply. Do not use a power supply that has been damaged in any
way (e.g. pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on).
Do not disassemble. Incorrect reassembly may result in the risk of electric shock or fire. If it is damaged, take
it to a Rupes service facility.
Do not short circuit. A power supply will short circuit if a metal object makes a connection between the positive
and negative contacts on the tool's power supply. Do not place a power supply near anything that may cause
a short circuit, such as coins, keys or nails. A short circuited power supply may cause fire and personal injury.
Store your tool and power supply in a cool, dry place. Do not store the tool and the power supply where
temperatures may exceed 50°C (120°F) such as in direct sunlight, a vehicle or metal building during the summer.
