WARNING Carefully read the safety precautions
before using the brushcutter.
This product must be held to the right of the operator's body,
this will ensure exhaust fumes are directed away from the
operator and will not be obstructed by the operator's clothing
. If you have not used a brushcutter before, spend some time
in becoming familiar with the controls and method of usage
before operation. Check the machine carefully before using
it, make sure that there are no loosened screws, damaged
parts or fuel leakages. Ceck the condition of the antivibration
components on a regular basis. Avoid using the brushcutter
over excessively long periods of time, excessive amounts of
vibration can be harmful. Remove from the working area grit,
debris, ropes, metal parts or any other objects which might
get entangled around the rotating parts or be dangerously
projected. Put on the harness and clip the harness to the
hanger. Always keep both hands on the handle operating the
brushcutter (Fig.12). Use the brushcutter as illustrated Fig.13.
For cutting easy and safety always place the stop of the
guard against the wood Fig.13
Always check the blade for cracks after hitting foreign objects.
RepIace damaged or excessively worn accesories (blades,
nylon head, guards, harness).
Heads WIRES OF NYLON ACTIVE ®, loading of the
wire without removing the head Fig.14.
- Always use the same original diameter of the wire so as
not to overload the engine.
PREPARING TO WORK WITH YOUR BRUSHCUTTER
Harness and balancing adjustments. Put on the harness.
Clip the harness to the hanger on the shaft housing (2). Adjust
harness to obtain in the correct brushcutter height. Adjust
harness hanger (1) so that blade or head hangs bout 5 cm
above the ground. Fig.15
FUEL
WARNING. The machine is equipped with a two stroke
engine. Always run the machine with fuel, which is mixed
with oil. Only prepare the quantity of fuel for each job. Do not
smoke. Refill when the engine is switched off and away from
naked flame. AIways use a minimum octane number of 90.
Mix fresh gasoline and ACTIVE oil in the ratio of
1:50 (2%). If the ACTIVE oil is not available use a good 2
stroke oil quality in the ratio of 1:25 (4%) see Fig.16
Important Always shake this fuel mix vigorously each time
you use it. Fuel mix properties deteriorate with time we
therefore recommend that you only make the quantity of fuel
mix you will need for each usage. Do not use fuel mix more
than a week old as this could damage the engine. Fill the
brushcutter fuel tank only to 3/4 capacity to allow for fuel
expansion.
FUELING
WARNING Always shut off the engine before refueling. Slowly
6. USE OF BRUSHCUTTER
- Turn off the engine.
- Rotate, clockwise, the knob (1) until the arrow (1) is
aligned with one of the bushes (3).
- Insert the pipe (4) that came through the head.
- Insert the wire and remove the tube.
Connect the ends of the wire and pull the wire so that the
two arms of the wire of the same length.
- Turn the knob clockwise, making sure to stretch both
arms of the wire every 3 laps, until the full wrap.
DISMANTLING head
Press the knob (1). While pressing the tab (5) and pull the
cover part (6) from the track (7). By holding down the
knob, press the other tab and remove the lid.
ASSEMBLY head
Mount Bushings (3) in their home of the cover (6). Mount
the reel in the cover (6). Place the spring on the spool or
inside of the track (7).
Mount the cover / spool / sockets in the body of the head
making sure the tabs (5) are in their home.
OPERATION
To lengthen the wire: to turn the head while keeping the
engine to the ground accelerato.Battere the knob (1).
Each step corresponds to about 3cm. Release of the wire.
CAUTION: Do not fly head on hard surfaces can be
dangerous.
7. PREPARING FOR USE
open the cap of the fuel tank, when filling up with fuel, so that
possible over pressure disappears. Tighten the fuel cap
carefully after fuelling. Always move the machine at least 3
m (10Ft) from the fueling area before starting. Before fueling
clean the tank cap area carefully, to ensure that no dirt falls
into the tank make sure that the fuel is well mixed by shaking
the container before fueling.
STARTING
Lay brushcutter on a flat bare surface and make sure that
the cutting tool is free to work .
Move ignition switch to (1). Fig.17
Press throttle trigger (2) and push down the botton (3) to
lock the trigger in half-throttle position, release the trigger (2)

Holding the unit down pull the starting handle until engine
attempts to run then move the choke lever (A) to open position

Pull starter until engine runs.
Once the engine has started, press throttle trigger (2) to
release it from the half-throttle position and let the engine
idle.
