Place the device on the desired work-
piece and switch it on.
•
Loose the champing lever (9) by turning
it clock-wise and pushing the device
down until it touches the surface of the
depth stop (7) on the step stop (5).
•
Lock the device into place by turning
the clamp lever (9) anti-clockwise.
•
Mill with even speed and even pressure
(see Fig. H).
Fitting the guide fence
•
Unscrew the both of the sliding bar (15)
screws with a Philips screw driver.
•
Secure the sliding bars (15) to the rip
fence (13) and tighten the screws.
Milling with a rip fence
(See Fig. E, F).
•
Push the rip fence (13) along the guide
rail of the base plate (4) and tighten the
screws (3).
•
Put the rip fence (13) on the edge of the
work piece.
Milling with a circular compass
(See Fig. E).
•
Put the centring pin (14) in the marked
mid point of the circle.
•
Turn the rip fence (13) over, i.e. the
fence side is facing upwards.
•
Screw together the centre pin and the
rip fence with a wing bolt. Lock the
centre pin to the screws with the slot of
the open-ended spanner (17).
•
Secure the sliding bars (15) to the base
plate (4) and tighten the screws (3).
Set the template guide
(See Fig. B, G).
•
Set the template guide (11) from below
on the base plate (4).
•
Secure the template guide (11) with the
two screws of the extractor adapter on
the base plate (4). Ensure that the tem-
plate guide (11) is set the right way
round – the thrust ring must be pointing
down.

Milling with the template guide
Note: The pattern must be at least as high
as the template guide's (11) thrust ring.
Note: Choose the router bit as small as the
inner diameter of the template guide.
When using a template guide (11) the pat-
tern can be transferred onto the work piece.
•
Place the router with the template guide
on the pattern.
•
Loose the clamping lever (9) by turning
it clockwise and lower the device until it
reaches predetermined depth.
•
Lead the device with the protecting
template guide along the pattern. Apply
pressure lightly.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Cleaning
•
Keep safety devices, ventilation open-
ings and the motor housing as free as
possible from dirt and dust. Rub the
electric power tool with a clean cloth or
blow over it with low pressure com-
pressed air.
•
We recommend that you clean your
electric power tool immediately after
each use.
•
Clean the electric power tool regularly
with a damp cloth and somewhat soft
soap. Do not use any cleaning or sol-
vent materials; these can attack the
device's plastic components. Make sure
that no water can get inside the electric
power tool.
Maintenance
There are no inner parts of the power tool
which need maintenance.
