Screw together the extractors screw
(10) and the under side of the base
plate (4).
•
Connect a vacuum device approved for
the extraction of sawdust and splinters
to the extractor (10).
Reducer
Connecting:
•
Slide the reducer (16) in to the suction
adapter (10).
•
Slide the hose for an approved dust
extraction unit (e.g. a workshop vac-
uum) onto the reducer (16).
Removal:
•
Pull the hose of the vacuum unit off of
the reducer (16).
•
Pull off the reducer (16).
WARNING! Dust from materials such as
paint containing lead, some types of
wood, minerals and metal can be harm-
ful. Touching or inhaling the dust can
cause allergic reactions and / or respira-
tory diseases of the user or other people
nearby.
Certain dusts such as oak or beech dust
are considered carcinogenic, especially
in connection with additives for wood
treatment (chromate, wood preserva-
tives). Material containing asbestos may
only be processed by specialists.
• If possible, use a dust extraction
system.
• Ensure that the workplace is well
ventilated.
• It is recommended to wear a breathing
mask with filter class P2.
• Observe the regulations applicable in
your country for the materials to be
processed.
Before assembly, always switch off
the machine and remove the mains
plug from the mains.
WARNING! We recommend wearing pro-
tective gloves when inserting and chang-
ing cutters.

Original accessories/ tools
Use only the accessories and attachments
detailed in the operating instructions, or
those which are compatible with the device.
Using the router tool
(See Fig. A).
•
Press and hold the spindle lock key (1).
•
Release the union nut (2) with the open-
ended spanner (17) by turning it
anticlockwise.
•
Release the spindle-lock key (1).
•
Then use the router tool. This must be
inserted at least 20 mm (shaft length).
•
Press and hold the spindle lock key (1).
•
Tighten the union nut (2) firmly with the
open-ended spanner (17). Release the
spindle-lock key (1).
Changing the collet
Start with the already installed collet a
8 mm.
Change the collet for a router bit with a
6 mm shaft as described below.
•
Release the union nut by turning it anti-
clockwise using the open-ended span-
ner (17) until the collet 8 mm is
removed.
•
Insert the collet 6 mm (18).
ATTENTION! Tighten the union nut (2) firmly
with the open-ended spanner (17) once the
router bit is inserted. Otherwise the collet
might be damaged.
USE
Mains connection
The router is built for operation with sin-
gle-phase alternating current 230 V~ / 50 Hz
and is double insulated. Check whether the
existing mains voltage corresponds to that
specified on the type plate of the device.
If the work area is not close to the mains
connection, an extension cable with a suffi-
cient cross section must be used (at least
1.5 mm
).

The extension cord should be kept as short
as possible.
