Set the milling depth
(See Fig. C).
1.
Ensure that the clamping lever (9) is
locked down. If it is loose turn it
anti-clockwise until it is locked.
2. Place the device on the work piece to
be worked upon.
3. Turn the step stop (5) until it locks into
the lowest position.
4. Loose the lock screw (6).
5. Loose the clamping lever (9) by turning
it clockwise and pushing the device
down until the route bit touches the
surface of the work-piece.
6. Lock the clamping lever in place (9) by
turning it anti-clockwise.
7.
Push the depth stop (7) down until it
reaches the lowest position of the step
stop (5). Move the index indicator to the
position "0" on the dial milling depth
adjustment.
8. Adjust the depth stop (7) to the desired
depth, tighten the lock screw (6). After
the index indicator should no longer be
adjustable.
9. Loose the clamping lever (9) and lead
the device back up.
Readjust the milling depth
•
The milling depth can be adjusted with
the control dial (7).
•
Loose the clamping lever (9) by turning
it clockwise and pushing the device
down until the depth stop (7) touches
the step stop (5).
•
Lock the clamping lever in place (9) by
turning it anti-clockwise.
•
Set the milling depth with the control
dial (7).
•
Loose the clamping lever (9) by turning
it clockwise and lead the device back
up. Check the milling depth through a
further practical test.
Set the milling depth with the step stop
(See Fig. C).
You can use the step stop (5) will deeper
depths in several steps with less takeoff.

•
Set the desired milling depth with the
lowest step of the stop (5) (as described
above).
•
Then set it at higher level for the first
attempt.
Presetting the speed
(See Fig. A).
•
Set the desired speed using the speed
setting wheel (8).
1—2 = low speed
3—4 = middle speed
5—7 = high speed
OPERATION
WARNING! Never switch on the
machine when a cutter is touching the
workpiece, as this can cause damage,
kickback or injury.
NOTE! Let the machine first reach full speed
without load before you apply it to the
workpiece.
The tool works better with a uniform feed
with moderate pressure. When using a large
diameter cutter, make several passes to
remove the material in stages.
Switching on and off
(See Fig. B).
Switching on:
•
Press and hold the start lockout (12b).
•
Activate the ON/OFF switch (12a). Once
the machine has started, release the
start lockout (12b).
Switching off:
•
Release the ON/OFF switch (12a).
Milling direction
(See Fig. D).
The milling process must always go against
the rotationary direction on the router bit.
ATTENTION! When milling in the direction
of the router bit (counter rotation) the device
fly out of your hand.
Milling Process
(See Fig. B, C).
Set the milling depth as previously
described.
