Introduction
The 'Reflex' electrically operated height-adjustable, tiltable shower and toilet chair, is an
ergonomically sound aid for the care and cleaning of people with physical handicaps.
Comfort is optimum for both carers and users.
Its versatility in terms of adjustment options and the functional design also make it pos-
sible to use the Reflex as a toilet seat with the use of a bedpan or toilet bucket, or in
combination with a toilet.
The Reflex consists of an upper section, the seat section and the frame in which the drive
unit and power supply are housed. The seat section is comfortable and provides effective
support for users. The height of the seat section can be electrically adjusted in relation to
the frame and can also be tilted electrically. This combination makes the Reflex multifunc-
tional. The Reflex is fitted as standard with arm rests with a front barrier and a removable
and height-adjustable footrest. The Reflex is fitted with a stop function. Using this blocks
all the functions of the Reflex.
The chair has a "Stand-by mode" which enables the control functions and the
electrical current to be switched off automatically when the chair is not used for
an hour. The Reflex also has a failsafe mechanism in case of overloading.
The Reflex is a product with a CE mark. This mark complies with the Directive on medical
aids of 14 June 1993 nr. 93/42 EEG for medical equipment.
The Reflex is tested and manufactured in accordance with EN 12182.
The Reflex complies with the EN 60601-1 norm.
The Reflex has a protection value of IP44, tested in conformity with KEMA report
208446700-QUA/ESG.
The guideline and standard specifications can be made available on request.
