7 Cleaning and maintenance
General
Warning! Before any maintenance operation, it is necessary to turn off the stove and wait for it to cool to
room temperature, then disconnect the outlet.
The cleaning interval depends on the quality of the pellets and the average heating power.
Wet pellets or pellets with a high ash and sawdust content can disturb the normal cleaning interval. It is
therefore necessary to always use high-quality pellets.

7.1 Cleaning of ashes
Cleaning the crucible
Check the crucible regularly before using the stove. Make sure the connecting duct is free of ash, soot or
slag. The crucible must be correctly placed in the fireplace.
When the burner has cooled to room temperature and there is no more flame, the vacuum cleaner can be
used to clean the ash.
