Preparing your harness
Impact protector
Your harness is equipped with an integrated airbag-type
impact protector. This protection has been certified in the
laboratory
in accordance with the requirements of the test criteria:
- EN 1651 :2018 + A1:2020
- LTF - 2. DV LuftGerPV §1, Nr. 7C
On delivery, your protector complies with all these criteria.
The best protection is offered when it is fully inflated.

The impact protector can also be subjected to more insidious
attacks, such as repeated small fricton (on the ground before
take-off, or on landing), or UV damage, and degrade through
use. We recommend to periodically check the function and
condition of the impact pad in accordance with these
instructions.
Visual inspection:
Check the protector fabrics for any of the following defects:
- Broken yarn or open stitch
- Presense of holes, tears or scratches
- Unsual decoloration of the fabric
- Broken element
If any of those element is present, the performance of your
protector could be compromised.
In this case please reach us with some pictures of the defects
for further informations and investigation.

Airbag operation and use :
The airbag comprises 2 inflation chambers, one high and one
low. In flight, with the help of the relative wind, air enters the
side scoops and fills the upper chamber. When this chamber is
full, air enters the lower chamber and fills it in turn.
