SOLUTION
◾
Clean debris from external chain brake
mechanism.
◾
Contact EGO Customer Service for repair.
◾
Loosen the quick chain-tension
adjust knob at least twice circles
counterclockwise rst and then fully
tighten it clockwise until the chain is
correctly tensioned.
◾
Sharpen the chain cutters, following
the section "HOW TO SHARPEN THE
CUTTERS".
◾
Reinstall the saw chain, following the
section "REPLACING THE BAR AND
CHAIN".
◾
Replace the saw chain, following the
section "REPLACING THE BAR AND
CHAIN".
◾
Check the oil level in the oil tank. Rell the
oil tank if necessary.
◾
Loosen the quick chain-tension adjust knob
at least twice circles counterclockwise rst
and then fully tighten it clockwise until the
chain is correctly tensioned.
◾
Reinstall the chain, following the section
"REPLACING THE BAR AND CHAIN".
ensuring that the drive links on the chain
are fully seated onto the sprocket.

Filling bar and chain lubricant.
◾
Clear the debris in the groove.
