ASSEMBLING THE HEATER
1. Remove heater from packaging. To protect your hands, put on gloves before lifting the outer shell. Never
grasp bare metal without gloves. (See Figure 1)
2. Lift outer shell straight up. Care must be taken to protect hands during lift. (See Figure 2)

3. Lift outer shell until all three clips engage slots located in the lower shell. When this happens, the screw
holes will line up. (See Figure 3)
4. Lock the clip into place with 3 screws as shown. The heater must not be operated unless the outer shell is
properly extended and fully locked into place. (See Figure 4)

CONNECTING TO GAS SUPPLY
IMPORTANT! Always use a propane cylinder that has a connection device that is compatible with the hose
and regulator assembly supplied.
1. To connect hose and regulator assembly, rotate fitting on hose/regulator COUNTERCLOCKWISE into
threads on tank valve (see Figure 5 and 6). Be sure to tighten firmly.
