Note: While the heating elements are warming up, a burnt odour and smoke may
be emitted when the appliance is first used. This does not represent a danger or
a defect. Wait until the appliance has heated up and the odour has disappeared.
During this procedure, it is advisable to use the appliance without food.
Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove all packaging material.
Wipe the heating plates of the sandwich maker with a slightly damp cloth.
Attention! Before cleaning the heating plates, make absolutely sure that the
appliance is not connected to the mains and has cooled down completely!
