Loosen the container cap –
Remove the battery – Clip the
spraying lance onto the spraying
lance holder – Store the device in
a dry place and frost-free.
8.3.1 Correct battery and charger
storage
It is essential that you also follow the
"Safety instructions for handling
charger and battery" in chapter
"Important safety instructions".
ATTENTION
Improper use of the device poses a risk
of damage to property. The battery
should not be stored uncharged. Though
self discharge is minimal, an empty bat-
tery can be destroyed if stored for an
extended period. Thus, observe the fol-
lowing instructions if not in use for an
extended period (e.g. during winter):
store battery at a charge status of
approx. 40 - 60 %.
store battery, separated from the
device, in a dry, elevated, closed, frost-
protected space at a temperature
between 0 °C and + 45 °C. When stor-
age temperature is +15 °C, self-dis-
charge and chemical ageing is at its
lowest. Avoid direct sunlight.
if the battery is not used for more than
6 months, use the status indicator to
check the charging status in the
charger. Recharge the battery to
approx. 40-60% capacity if required.
8.4 Maintenance
Observe the national regulations con-
cerning occupational safety which
apply to the place of operation as well
as the applicable national regulations
for operations.
Regularly coat the seals with GLORIA
silicone grease.
Reparaturen nur durch GLORlA Service-

Repairs must only be carried out by a

8.4.1 Cleaning the sieve tube
in the quick closure valve as
well as in the device

WARNING
You may be exposed to hazards that
could injure you when cleaning the
sieve tube. Wear safety gloves and pro-
tective clothing, if necessary.
 Switch off the device.
 Completely depressurise the hose line
(G) by pulling the actuation lever on the
quick closure valve (H), even if the
device is empty, and dispose of any
remaining liquid in the system onto
vegetation.
 The sealing ring in the container cap
and all other moving parts must be
regularly greased with resin- and acid-
free grease.
 Only use original GLORIA spare parts
for repairs. (see GLORIA spare parts
shop https://shop.gloriagarten.de)
 Repairs must only be carried out by a
GLORIA service point.

Sieve tube in the quick closure
valve
 Unscrew the hose connection from the
quick closure valve and remove from
the quick closure valve with the sieve.
Unscrew the sieve tube from the hose
connection and wash thoroughly with
water. Mount in reverse sequence after
cleaning. Hand-tighten all screw con-
nections.

Filter in the device
 Unscrew the container cap and remove
the filter in the device from the bottom
of the device as shown and clean thor-
oughly with water. Mount in reverse
sequence after cleaning. Hand-tighten
all screw connections.
8.4.2 Checking the nozzles
Nozzles blocked or clogged. Check the
following at least every two months:
