You can also place the cabinet on its back on a pair of sawhorses,
capable of holding the weight, for assembly if you wish.
5.
Attach each leg (#23) with two 1/4 in. bolt at the inner corner and two 1/2
in. bolt on the outside edge.
a.
The front left leg has a name plate.
b.
The rear legs have six connection points instead of four. Two bolt
holes farther down the back of the rear legs will match bolt holes
in the hopper. Drive two tapping screws into each rear leg at these
spots.
6.
Attach the metering valve (#13).
a.
Place the metering valve's hinge inside the hopper's bottom opening
and align the three bolt holes.
b.
Insert a bolt through each hole from the outside and secure each
with a nut until tight.
c.
The valve door seals to keep the media from spilling out. A tighter
seal is created by turning the catch clockwise. Turn the catch
counterclockwise if the seal is too tight or you have difficulty closing
the door.
7.
Stand the cabinet upright on its legs.
8.
Install the air regulator front, left side of the hopper.
a.
Slide a lock washer over each 1/4 x 3/4 in. bolt and set aside.
b.
Align the L-bracket bolt holes with the leg's bolt holes. Make sure the
pressure gauge (#8) can be read easily.
c.
Insert the prepared screws in through the leg and secure the bracket
with two 1/4 in. nuts.
9.
Place the foot pedal between the front legs.
10. Swing the left side door (#6) hinge out and align the four bolt holes with
the bolt holes on the left cabinet door opening. Insert four bolts through
the hinge and cabinet. Secure each with a nut and tighten until the hinge
is flush.
11.
Repeat the previous step with the right side door (#6).
