TROUBLESHOOTING

escaping fr_om
2
the Car_bonator_:
• There may be a pressure leak between
the CO
Carbonator holder and the valve.
2
Screw the CO
Carbonator tighter into
2
its fitting. Do not use tools.
8. If you exper_ience poor_ car_bonation:
• If you have not yet added flavor, try to
carbonate to a higher carbonation level.
• Check the CO
Carbonator. You might
2
be out of CO
.
2
• Make sure that you are carbonating
chilled water.
9. Water overflows from the carbonating
bottle dur_ing car_bonation:
• Check that the carbonating bottle is filled
just to the fill line.
• Verify that the carbonating bottle is firmly
installed in the Snap-Lock. Check by gently
pulling the bottom of the bottle. If it feels
loose, then remove and reinsert.
10. If your_ spar_kling dr_ink is not
flavorful enough:
• Just add more flavor to taste.
• Do not re-carbonate after adding
the flavor.

11. Small pieces of ice appear_ in the
water_ dur_ing car_bonation:
• This might happen when carbonating
very cold water. If this happens, shorten
the time of each press until the ice stops
appearing or it can affect the carbonation.
Any ice created will simply melt.
• Ice can form and restrict the flow of
CO
into the bottle during repeated
2
heavy carbonation. Allow a few minutes
between carbonating several bottles to
maintain normal carbonation time.
WARNING: If you suspect your
