SET-UP­AND­SAFETY
Please note the following instructions when set-
ting up the system:
This device is designed for the playback of
7
audio signals. Any other use is expressly pro-
hibited.
Make sure the device is protected from drip-
7
ping or splashing water.
Do not place any vessels such as vases on the
7
device. These may be knocked over and spill
fluid on the electrical components, thus pre-
senting a safety risk.
Do not place any naked flames such as can-
7
dles on the device.
Only use the device in a moderate climate.
7
Ensure that the device is adequately ventilated
7
by placing it at least 10 cm from any other ob-
ject. Do not cover the device with newspapers,
table cloths, curtains, etc.
If malfunctions occur due to static electricity
7
charges or fast transient (burst), reset the de-
vice. To do this, pull out the power plug and
connect it again after a few seconds.
When deciding where to place the device,
7
please note that furniture surfaces are covered
by various types of varnish and plastic, most
of which contain chemical additives. These ad-
ditives can corrode the device supports, leav-
ing residues on the furniture surfaces which
can be difficult or impossible to remove.
Do not use any cleaning agent, as this may
7
damage the casing. Clean the device with a
clean, dry cloth.
Never open the device casing. The manufac-
7
turer will not accept any liability for damage
resulting from improper handling.
Make sure the power plug is freely accessible.
7
Do not put or insert any foreign bodies on the
7
disc tray or into the CD compartment of the
device.
Bringing the device in from the cold can cause
7
condensation on the CD lens, which prevents
it from playing. Give the device time to warm
up.
The CD mechanism contains self-lubricating
7
bearings, which must not be oiled or greased.
The light source of this product is not replace-
7
able; when the light source reaches its end of

life the whole luminaire shall be replaced. if
the external flexible cable or cord of this
luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively
replaced by manufacturer or his service
agent or a similar qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
Attention should be drawn to the environmenta

laspects of battery disposal.

CHEMICAL­BURN­HAZARD.
Thunderstorms are a danger to all electrical
7
devices. Even if the product is switched off, it
can be damaged by a lightning strike to the-
mains. Always remove the power plug duringa
thunder storm.Do not expose the battery to
extreme heat, such as for example sunlight, ra-
diators, fire, etc.
Keep new and used batteries out of reach of-
7
children.
If the battery compartment cannot be closed
7
safely, do not continue to use the device and
keep out of reach of children.
Caution:

incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type.
RF­Exposure­Warning
This equipment must be installed and operated
7
in accordance with provided manual. The de-
vice comprised a built-in antenna and must not
be co-located or operating in conjunction with
any other antenna or transmitter.
The only way to completely disconnect the
7
device from the mains is to unplug the mains
cable.
The device should be installed and operated-
7
such that a minimum separation distance of 20
cm is maintained between the radiator (anten-
na) and the user's or nearby person's body at
all times for RF exposure safety.
The Product can be used all over EU without
7
any restriction.
