3 Intended use
The installation kit (item no. 9100300036) enables the installation of an
air conditioning roof unit CoolAir RT880 (item no. 9100100044) or a Cool-
Air SP950 roof evaporator unit (item no. 9100100048) in a roof ventilation
opening (hatch) provided at the plant in a Scania (Highline and Topline)
driver cab.
A NOTICE!
 The RT880 and SP950 units are not suitable for installation in con-
struction machines, agricultural machines or similar equipment. They
will not work properly if exposed to strong vibrations.
 Operating the RT880 and SP950 units with voltages other than those
specified can result in damage to the devices.
I NOTE
For cabs with a mechanical ventilation hatch two holders (fig. 5 5,
page 5; Scania no. 1533737), which are standard with the electrical ven-
tilation hatch, are still needed to fix the stationary air conditioner.
