The fuse must also be installed on the positive cable [+] of the battery between the isolation
switch and the electronics box To do this, install the 120 A fuse (8) in the in-line fuse box (7)
Cut the battery's positive cable [+] at the required points and crimp 6 mm ring terminals to both
ends again to enable mounting on the fuse The fuse housing (7) can be screwed to a wall or
the floor in the same way as the electronic control unit
Using the battery cables supplied, wire the battery to the electronics box via the previously
installed disconnector and fuse, as shown in the wiring diagram (Fig5) For the connection to
the electronics box, 6 mm clamping ring connectors are already attached to the battery cables,
while two sizes of ring connectors are supplied for the connection to the battery itself
Caution Do not attempt to change the cables connected to the battery that are live Always
make sure that the cables are disconnected from the power supply when working on them
Caution Be careful not to interchange the positive and negative battery connections Incorrect
connection (reverse polarity) will damage the control unit
The positive and negative motor cables must now be connected to the system, all of which
have a pre-installed flat plug at one end of each length Run the motor cables through the hole
previously drilled in the vehicle floor and along the underside of the vehicle to the designated
motors, again using Fig 5 as a reference Several components are included to help secure these
cables, including: Cable channels - to protect the cables from sharp edges, P-clips/screws - to
secure the cables to surfaces and cable ties - to secure the cables to each other or to parts of
the chassis where required Also included are cable number and polarity markers so that the
wires can be labelled for ease of installation When laying the cables, make sure to lay them as
centrally as possible in the caravan to keep the length of the cables the same
When you are satisfied with the routing of the cables, you can crimp the supplied 4mm ring
terminals onto the ends of the cables for connection to the electronics box, as with the battery
cables The spade terminals for connection to the motors are already attached to the ends of
the motor cables
NOTE: Depending on the government regulations in your region, it may be necessary to provide
the system with stronger wiring If necessary, contact your dealer for further details
When all wires are correctly connected as shown in Fig 5, the electrical installation is complete
