b) Indoor Unit Connection, Commissioning
• Connect the low-voltage socket (32) to the mains adapter with an output voltage of 5 V/DC.
Never try any other mains adapter. Check the print on the back.
Connecting the wrong mains adapter will destroy the indoor unit. Loss of warranty/guarantee!
• Insert the included SD memory card in the SD card slot (29) at the right side of the indoor unit.
The indoor unit supports SD memory cards up to 2 GByte and SDHC memory cards up to max.
32 GByte.
• Fold open the base (30) on the back and put the indoor unit on a horizontal, stable, sufficiently large area.
Use suitable protection for valuable furniture surfaces; otherwise, impressions or scratches may result.
• Instead of using the extensible standing base, the included wall bracket may also
be installed on the back of the indoor unit. Screw the wall bracket to the back with
4 screws (observe correct alignment, see figure on the right).
The indoor unit then can be suspended from two screws or hooks in the wall. Use
screws and dowels suitable for the wall.
Ensure that no cables or lines are damaged when drilling or screwing.
• Switch on the indoor unit by briefly pressing the button "

After approx. one minute, the indoor unit switches to standby mode (the display goes out, the power LED (26) will
light up.

If the indoor unit is off, pressing the call button (4) will not have any effect. The indoor unit will not display
an image nor will the ring tone be output by the indoor unit.
Therefore, always observe that the indoor unit is switched on or in standby mode when you need it (the
power-LED (26) must be lit).
