To adjust 90° positive stop
1. Remove the blade guard.
2. Raise the blade to the highest possible position by turning the
blade control wheel (12) counterclockwise.
3. Loosen the bevel locking knob (10). Push the blade control wheel
and turn clockwise as far as possible.
4. Place a combination square flush on the table and flush against
the blade to determine if the blade is at a 90° angle to the table.
See FIG 17.
5. If the blade is not at a 90° angle to the table. Loosen the screw (10b). Adjust the bevel so that the blade is at
a 90° angle. Lock the bevel locking knob.
6. Turn the 90° jam nut connected with the screw from inside of the base, make sure there is no movement.
Tighten the screw to secure.
To adjust the 45° positive stop,
the blade at a 45° angle against a combination square. The 45° positive stop adjusting screw and jam nut (10c)
are on the right side. See FIG 16.

BLADE BEVEL INDICATOR ADJUSTMENTS (FIG 16)
1. Loosen the bevel locking knob (10), push the blade control wheel (12) and turn clockwise to position the blade
at 90° measured by using a combination square. See FIG 16.
2. Loosen the holding screw (10d), position the pointer (10a) over 0° and tighten the screw.
noTe:
Always make a trial cut on a piece of wood when making critical cuts. Measure the cut for accuracy.
BLADE BEVEL ADJUSTMENT (FIG 16)
1. Loosen the bevel locking knob (10).
2. Push blade control wheel (12) so that the gear on the wheel engages into the gear bar on the base. Turn the
blade control wheel to desired blade angle. 0° on bevel scale for 90° cutting.
3. Tighten the bevel adjustment knob.

TO REPLACE THE BLADE (FIG 18)

To remove the blade:
1. Remove the blade guard and the blade throat plate.
2. Raise the blade to the highest possible position.
3. To keep the arbor from rotating, place one of the open ended
wrenches (a) on the flange flats.
4. Place the second open ended wrench (b) on the arbor nut.
5. Turn the second wrench (b) clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise
to loosen. Loosen and remove the arbor nut. See FIG 18.
6. Remove the flange and pull the blade off the motor shaft.
To install the blade,

Blade rotation is counter-clockwise when observing from the right side
of the saw. Make sure the rotation direction mark on blade matches with that.
