2. Attach the long top brackets (B) to the stand legs.
3. Attach the short support brackets (C) to the stand legs.
4. Attach the long support brackets (D) to the stand legs.
5. Tap the four rubber feet 14 onto the bottom of the stand legs.
6. Tighten all fasteners.
WarninG:
securely tighten all fasteners. an unstable stand
may shift in use and cause serious personal injury.
MOUNTING THE TABLE SAW ON STAND
1. Place the table saw onto the assembled stand so that the four
mounting holes in the base of the saw are over the four mounting
slots on the stand.
2. Secure the table saw to the stand by using the four bolts, washers
and nuts provided. See FIG 4.
MOUNTING THE TABLE WITHOUT STAND
When mounting the table saw to a work bench or plywood, holes
should be drilled through the supporting surface to the work bench or
plywood and an opening must be made the same size as the opening
in the bottom of the saw using the dimensions illustrated so the saw
dust can drop through.
1. Place the saw on the mounting surface, and mark the location of
the four 3/8" mounting holes.
2. Remove the saw. Drill 3/8" holes in the mounting surface
3. Mark an 11" x 11" square centered between four mounting holes.
4. Cut out and remove the square. See FIG 5.
5. This opening will allow sawdust to fall through the saw base.
6. Place the saw on the work bench, and align the mounting holes of
the saw with holes that have been drilled through the surface.
7. Secure the saw to the work bench using bolts and nuts.
INSTALLING THE BLADE CONTROL WHEEL
HANDLE (FIG 6)
Place the nut into the nut slot on the back side of the blade control
wheel (11).
Insert the long screw (11b) through the wheel handle (11a), a plastic
washer and the blade control wheel. Tighten the screw into the nut by
using a screwdriver (not provided).
WarninG:
always unplug the saw from power source before
make any adjustments.
ADJUSTING THE SPLITTER (FIG 7,8)
The splitter (4) has two positions: Storage position and Working
position. The splitter is in the storage position out of the package.
To adjust the splitter to be working position
1. Remove the blade throat plate.
2. Raise the blade up to the highest position by turning the blade
control wheel counterclockwise. Set the bevel at 0°. Make sure the
bevel is locked tight.
3. Release the splitter locking lever (4a) by pulling the lever up.
4. Pull the splitter up to the working position. The two working
position holes should align with the two pins on the fixture.
