2.2.1 changing the batteries
WARNING
!
• Ensure the gas and electrical power to the appliance is turned off.
• Appliance may be hot, do not service until the appliance has cooled.
Battery Installation (CDI3EA-1)
1. Remove battery holder by sliding it forward
from the bracket (Fig. 1).
2. Install 2 « D » batteries.
3. Reinstall battery holder.
2.3 bracket installation for optional CF45/60 receiver
1. Remove the safety barrier and glass door (see "safety barrier & door removal / installation" section).
2. Remove the 1 screw holding the bracket in place (Fig. 1). Lift the bracket up and out of the slots, lifting it
through the opening between the fi rebox and the appliance's outer shell (Fig. 2).
3. Insert optional receiver (CF45 or CF60). Secure the receiver using 2 screws (supplied).
4. Place the bracket and receiver back through the opening between the fi rebox and the appliance's outer shell.
Slide the bracket and receiver into and down the slots (Fig. 2 in reverse).
5. Resecure the 1 screw to hold the bracket and receiver in place (Fig. 1).
