Installing the cellar conditioner
Important
Your cellar's insulation is a determining factor in the correct operation of yo u r
c o n d i t i o n e r. Insulation quality will determine the sta b i l i ty of the set te m p e ra t u re. Do
not use fibrous insulation such as fiberg l ass or ro c k wool. We advise that you use a
minimum thickness of 80 mm extruded polystyrene.
• Conditioner location:
The conditioner produces cool air inside the cellar and ejects hot air outside.
Do not install the conditioner opposite the door to the room because this may
create a risk of condensation on the door seals.
Do not locate the outer part of the conditioner above a heat source.
For insulation reasons, windows or glazed panels in the cellar space should be
avoided.
No hot water pipes should pass through the room to be air conditioned (e.g.
under floor heating).
The outer part of the conditioner should not be located in an area that is open
to the weather.
