Switching on the monitor
The MD3071A can be switched on manually and - or automatically using control
lines. This requires the system to be in standby mode as indicated by the fact
the Power/Videobutton is lit red. All control lines are "high-active", which means
that the control line needs to have a positive voltage of between 6 V and 60 V.
Function
Displays the selected camera image.
Displays the on-screen menu.
After switching on and switching over
the video input, displays information
on which video input was selected for 10
seconds (IN-1, IN-2 or IN-3).
After switching on and switching over
the video input, displays information
whether the image is mirrored for 10
seconds (mirror inversion).
Provides information on the status of the
switch output.
Function
On the MD3071A, the brightness sensor is behind
the Motec logo.
This must be left clear (do not cover) to ensure the
sensor can always record the ambient brightness.
