j) Assembly of Aerial and Upper Cover Hood
Roll out the aerial cable of the integrated receiver
entirely and carry this through the supplied aerial
pipe (1).
Then place the aerial pipe from top to bottom in
the designated clamp (2). Do not press the aerial
pipe from the side into the clamp, otherwise this
may break!
You can then loosely wrap the overhanging cable
along the outside of the aerial pipe and fasten the
end with adhesive tape in 35 or 40 MHz receivers.
Please ensure that the aerial cable in the electronics
system does not form a loop or knot as this can
impair the operating range!
Attention!
Under no circumstances must the aerial wire become loose or be in slewing range of the rotors. Otherwise,
the aerial wire may be unintentionally shortened or block one of the rotors. In both cases there is a risk of
crashing for the model.
Should you wish to retrofit your QuadroCopter with a remote control with 2.4 GHz, this step is not applicable
due to the short aerial.
Due to the position of the aerial pipe and the pre-
drilled hole in the upper hood, the hood can only
be mounted in one position.
For mounting the upper hood, please use the
supplied elastic bands.
Thread a radial arm through the band, tense this in
a longitudinal direction over the enclosure and then
fix it to the clasp of the plastic frame.
For safety reasons, please always use two elastic
bands oppositely.
