Operating conditions
The generators' performances mentioned are achieved under the reference conditions provided
by ISO 8528-1:2005:
Total barometric pressure: 100 kPa
Ambient temperature of the air: 25°C (298 K)
Relative humidity: 30%.
The generators' performances are reduced approximately by 4% for each increase in temperature range of
10°C and/or approximately by 1% for each rise in height of 100 m. The generators can only run in a
stationary position.
Generator capacity (overload)
Before connecting and operating the generator, calculate the electrical power required by the devices to be
used (expressed in Watts)*. The total power (in Amps and/or Watts) of the devices used at the same time
should not exceed the rated power of the generator set during continuous operation.
* This electrical power is usually indicated in the technical data or on the manufacturer's plate of the
equipment. Some devices require a higher power at start-up. The minimum power required should not
exceed the maximum power of the generator.
Guidelines for environmental protection
Drain the motor oil into a recipient provided for this purpose: never drain or dispose of the motor oil on the
ground.
To the extent possible, avoid sounds reverberation on walls or other structures (sound volume
amplification).
In case the generator is used in wooded, bushy areas or on grassy lands and if the exhaust silencer is not
equipped with a spark arrestor, clear an area wide enough and pay great attention that sparks do not cause
fire. When the generator is out of use (end-of-life of the product), bring it to a waste collection point.
