CONTROLS
• Starter control
- Type I: Manual starter hand grip (Fig. 5). Enables manual
starting of the engine
• Cutting means engagement consent lever
This lever conveys consent for the engagement of the cutting
means.
Consent is provided when the lever is pulled toward the handle.
When you release the consent lever the cutting means stops,
and the engine keeps running. (Fig. 6).
• Cutting means engagement consent lever:
This  lever  engages  the  cutting  means. The  cutting  means
must only be engaged when the engine is running (Fig. 7).
• Drive lever (if provided):
This  engages  the  wheel  drive  and  allows  the  machine  to
move forward (Fig. 8).
IMPORTANT The engine must always be running with the
drive disengaged.
IMPORTANT To prevent damage to the transmission, do not
pull the machine backwards with the drive engaged.
• Throttle
The throttle changes the engine revs and the speed of the
cutting device.
The throttle is controlled by the lever (Fig. 9).
Lever positions are indicated on the relevant plate.
Some models have a fixed speed engine with no need for
a throttle.
• Converter control lever (if fitted).
In the models with drive systems, the converter control lever
(if fitted) allows the operator to regulate forward gear speed.
The adjustment is done by moving the lever (Fig. 10) as per
the instructions shown near the lever.
• Cutting height adjustment
By  lowering  or  raising  the  chassis  the  grass  can  be  cut  at
different heights. (Fig. 10)
IMPORTANT This operation must be carried out when the
cutting device is stationary.
