Place a receptacle beneath the espresso delivery pipe and press the
key (12).
The rinsing operation will stop automatically. Rinsing will be called for each
time the appliance is switched on if the temperature is currently too low or if
the correct working temperature has not yet been reached.

Filling the heating system
Place a receptacle underneath the steam
nozzle
Make sure that the knob for steam/hot water is
at the position.
Press the key for about one second (10).
During the first usage, or when all the steam in
the heating system has run out, the "ON/OFF"
and "steam" indicators will both blink.
Turn the knob for steam/hot water to the
position (11a).
The pump now supplies water to fill the heating
system and the "ON/OFF" indicator will glow. The
outflow of water will be stopped automatically.
Turn the knob back to the
and remove the receptacle.
Rinsing the system
Switch on the appliance by pressing the
key.
The "ON/OFF" indicator will blink while the
appliance is heating up.
When the operating temperature has been
reached, the "ON/OFF" and the "rinse"
indicators will glow.
