Before assembling the appliance remove all
packing materials.
2.
Wipe the appliance inside and outside with a
damp cloth. Dry the parts carefully.
3.
Grease the plates slightly and preheat the
appliance for about 10 minutes. Then wipe
the plates with a damp cloth. For further use
the plates must not be greased any more (ex-
cept if stated in the recipe).
4.
Put the plug into the socket (power supply
230 V). Both control lamps are lighting.
5.
Preheat the appliance for about 10 minutes.
Then wipe the plates with a damp cloth.
6.
As soon as the required temperature is
reached, the green control lamp is turning
off. This lamp will always turn on, when the
required temperature has decreased and the
appliance is heating again.
cLeaninG anD MainTenance
1.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning and let
it cool down.
2.
Use a damp cloth for cleaning the housing and
the baking plates.
3.
Do not use any sharp or scouring agents. Wipe
the housing with a damp cloth and dry with a
soft cloth. Use mild cleansers, but never apply
such cleanser directly on the housing, but on
the cloth.

attention: When preparing sandwiches always close the handle locking!
You may use any kind of bread for the preparation of
sandwiches – however, we recommend to use white
bread.
Cut the bread to the plate size and leave an unco-
vered edge of about 1 cm in order to ensure a good
sealing of all sides of the sandwich.
Spread all sides of the bread which will contact the
toast plates slightly with butter.
You will see, that only few ingredients (e.g. the left-
overs of other dishes) are necessary to prepare
delicious snacks quite simply and rapidly without any
limitation to your phantasy: You may take meat, fish,

As soon as the right lamp turns out, the re-
quired temperature is reached and the prepa-
red toast can be placed in the appliance.

T he handle has to be closed firmly in order
to ensure an optimum sealing of the toast
edges.
9.
T he first toast should not be used and should
be thrown away.
10.
Toast the sandwich for approx. 3-5 minutes.
11.
Do not use any metal tools or sharp tools to
take the toast out. We recommend to use
wooden or plastic tools.
4.
All parts must be dried before storing the
appliance.
5.
For vertical storage wind the cable around the
cable storage at the bottom.
