5. INSTALLATION
Read the operating manual before installing and commis-
sioning the support device.
Observe the accident prevention regulations issued by the professional
association relating to vehicle maintenance and the Machine Safety Law.
The spindle support device is a major safety component for uncoupled
semi-trailers.
It is subject to high loads during the coupling and uncoupling processes.
Great care and attention should therefore be given to its installation. It
may only be installed and commissioned by specially trained personnel.
The connection and bracing for the spindle support device must be of an
adequate size and secured without tension.
