28. Check that the food has not
already been frozen. In fact,
frozen foods that have completely
thawed should not be refrozen.
Once defrosted, food should be
consumed quickly.
• To avoid alteration of
food due to the transfer of germs:
Store unpackaged animal and
plant products separately in
drawers. This also applies to
different types of meat.
• If foods must be kept together
due to lack of space: wrap them.
• Never store fruit and vegetables
on a balcony with meat or fish.
