Camera setup and confi guration
1. Connecting the camera to the network
When using for the first time, please connect
the camera and the computer to a router using
network cables.
2. Software installation (only for PC)
Insert the Installation CD and wait for Autorun to start
or manually open the "autorun.exe" file. Now install the
programs Camera Setup and Camera Live.
Camera Setup helps you find your camera in
the network, and helps you open the configu-
ration page or the camera view in the browser
for the first time (see point 3 for more details).
Camera Live provides additional functions,
e.g. MultiLive for simultaneous viewing of
multiple cameras as well as the Snapshot and
Record functions (see point 4 for more details).
3. Camera setup and display in the browser
Start Camera Setup and wait until your camera is located
in the network. Click on Refresh if required. When found,
the IP address assigned by the router to the camera will
be displayed.
Using this IP address, you can access the camera from
any browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox / Chrome / Safari /
etc.) and either start the video stream or access advanced
camera configuration options (recommended for expert
users only).
Enter the IP address in your browser.
