Cause
• Password/password entry incorrect
• Input pressure is not in the required range
7.3.2 on page EN-12
• Back pressure at the outlet is too high
(> 50% gas input pressure)
• Shielding gas escapes uncontrolled from a leak in
the area between the EWR outlet and the closed
solenoid valve in the wire feeder. This error can
occur only if there is no shunt signal (no welding).
• Error from internal sensor system
• Voltage is not in the required range

Troubleshooting
• Re-enter password
• Determine the cause and observe the
required input pressure range
• Determine the cause and rectify
(e.g. blockage)
• Determine the cause and rectify
(e.g. connectors are not properly fitted, seals
are defective)
• Send device to ABICOR BINZEL.

• Determine cause and rectify
• Have the device recalibrated by an
ABICOR BINZEL service technician
4 on page EN-6
• Determine cause and rectify
(e.g. allow to cool)
Possible sources of error:
• Back pressure too high; determine the cause
and rectify (e.g. blockage)
• Input pressure too low; determine the cause
and observe the required input pressure
