• Once the power supply is established, the device always starts at the User authorization level.
7.2 Authorization levels/password
The following authorization levels exist:
User
Read all data/values
Setter
Read and modify all data/values
Service
Read and modify all data/values, additional functions for recalibration available/change password

Authorization levels
The device is preset with factory settings at the time of delivery. To change this, you require authorization rights at the Setter
level and must enter the following password, which has been set by the factory: 1054
This password can be changed only via the service software. To do so, you also need authorization rights at the Setter level.

7.3.1 Switching on/after switching on
Description
1 Switch on the device by pressing the power button (18) (for approx. 2 seconds).
Company name and version (EWR 2 or EWR 2 Net) are displayed.
The self diagnosis function starts. The remaining time for diagnosis is displayed: 3, 2, 1,...[s]
The results of the self diagnosis are displayed, e.g. "OK", or one of the following error messages appears.

Display
The display shows target and actual values, parameters, and error conditions.
Timeout mechanism
The authorization level is set by a higher authorization level to "User" if no touch button is
pressed within 5 minutes.
