Checking the intake filter (filter element)
Check the suction filter (filter element) at least every 100 hours of operation, depending
on the operating conditions. If necessary, clean or replace it. Dirt reduces the filtering
capacity. This in turn leads to a compressor shortened life, the power consumption
increases, the air intake may be impaired and outlet and check valve may be limited in
their function.
8.2.8
Replacement of the intake filter (filter element)
Replace the suction filter every 600 hours of operation or earlier if a visual inspection
indicates this is necessary. The inner surface of the filter element is clogged with dust
or changes its colour.
8.2.9
Condensate drainage
Drain the condensate daily and after each use.
1 Switch off the compressor in accordance with Point 6.7.
2 Decompress the pressure vessel to 2-3 bar.
3 Place a container beneath the condensate drainage point.
4 Open the ball valve and drain the condensate.
5 Close the ball valve.
6 Dispose of the drained condensate in accordance with environmental
regulations.
8.2.10 Checking the connection tightness of the air line
Check the connection tightness of the air line daily and before each use.
To check the connection tightness, the compressor should be switched on and the
pressure in the pressure vessel should be a maximum of 5-7 bar. There must be no
audible air leaks at the connection points. If necessary, tighten the connection points.

8.2.11 Checking the screw tightening torques
Check the holding force of the piston cylinder, electric motor and base plate every
300 hours of operation or every three months. If necessary, tighten the screws (Table
2). Ensure that the electric motor and the pulleys of the piston cylinder are located on
the same plane.
8.2.12 External inspection of the compressor
Check the electric cable, the safety valve, the pressure gauge and the pressure
switch for damage that could compromise the correct operation daily and before each
use . Ensure that there are no deformities or fractures and that the earth wire is
connected properly.
