IGNITION OF THE GRILL BURNER
(some models only)
ATTENTION: Never turn the gas ther-
mostat before approaching a flame to
the pipe of the burner.
WARNING: Risk of explosion! The
oven door must be open during this
operation.
To ignite the grill burner:
1. Open the oven door to the full extent.
2. Apply a flame to pipe of the grill burner
as shown in fig. 4.6
3. Press in the oven control knob (fig.
4.7) and turn clockwise to the position
marked by the symbol
Only for the models N55 .. 220, N55


.. 222, N55 .. 320, N55 .. 322: Keep
the knob pressed.

Never continue this operation for
more than 15 seconds. If the burner
has still not ignited, wait for about
1 minute prior to repeating the igni-
tion.
4. Only for the models N55 .. 220, N55
.. 222, N55 .. 320, N55 .. 322: After
lighting the burner, wait a few seconds
before releasing the knob (until the sa-
fety valve stays open).
The oven door must always be kept
half-open and with shield "A" mounted
when the grill is in operation (fig. 4.9).

222, N55 .. 320, N55 .. 322: If the flame ex-
tinguishes for any reason, the safety valve
will automatically shut off the gas supply to
the burner. To re-light the burner, first turn
the oven control knob to position
for at least 1 minute and then repeat the
lighting procedure.

OVEN LIGHT (Only for the models
N55 .. 220, N55 .. 222, N55 .. 320, N55
.. 322)
The oven is equipped with a light that illu-
minates the oven to enable visually control-
ling the food that is cooking.
This light is controlled by a switch on the
control panel (fig. 4.8)
