Start-up procedure
Warning!
Never allow the motor to run in closed spaces.
Poisoning danger!
Warning!
Do not use compressed starting fluid. Explosion
Danger!
Warning!
Hold limbs at a distance from the equipment's
moving parts. Rotating parts!
Caution!
Starter cord can spring back to the motor faster
than the cord can be let loose.
Recoil danger!
Only start the motor and allow it to run outdoors
Only start motor in a horizontal position
Control oil level
Tie up long hair and take off jewelry
Do not wear loose fitting clothing

Start motor

Starting with a cold engine, after longer periods of
storage and temperatures under 10°C:
1. Press pimer button "a" 6 times.
2. Press pimer button "b" 10 times.
3. Quickly pull out the starter cord and then allow it to
slowly roll up.
Do not press primer buttons when engine is warm.
Engine speed (rpm value) is fixed.
Engine speed cannot be adjusted.
Caution!
Running motors produce heat. Motor parts,
particularly the exhaust, become extremely hot.
Burn danger!

Hold hands and feet at a distance from rotating
parts
Hold flammable foreign objects far from the
exhaust and cylinder area
Allow exhaust, cylinders and cooling fins to cool
before touching
Storage
Storing motor
Caution!
Do not store motor near open flames or heating
sources - Burn and/or explosion danger!
Allow motor to cool
Store motor in a well ventilated room, not in the
vicinity of open flames or heating sources
Avoid the following areas when storing:
Proximity to open flames
Proximity to heating sources
where electrical motors are operated
where electrical tools are used
With motors that are stored longer than 30 days,
that drain fuel or are protected with a stabilizer,
since they otherwise form deposits in the fuel
system
Calibration
Danger!
Before callibration, maintenance and repair work,
always turn off the motor and secure it.
Pull ignition wire and hold at a distance from the
spark plug
Carburetor Adjustment
Carburetor callibration may only be carried
out by authorized workshops or by our customer
service department.
