Always check the oil level with the machine switched off.
• Remove the cap from the oil tank and clean the dipstick;
• Insert the dipstick into the oil filler neck, but do not
screw it in;
• Check the oil level indicated on the dipstick;
• If you are near the bottom level, fill up to the indicated
level. Do not overfill.
• Fit the tank cap, making sure it is securely fastened.
Drain the oil while the engine is warm. Hot oil drains faster
and completely.
• Clean the oil filling area and then remove the tank cap;
• Place an oil drain pan next to the lawnmower to catch
the used oil, then tilt the machine to the right side. The
used oil will drain through the filler tube. Allow to drain
completely;
• Fill with the recommended oil (15W40). Do not overfill.
Allow a few minutes for the oil to settle and then check
that it is at the desired level.

To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug should
be clean and with adequate gap between the electrodes.
There are several factors that can affect the operation of the
spark plug: incorrect carburetor adjustment and fuel, and
dirty air filter. These factors cause particles accumulations
in the spark plug electrodes, which leads to operating
problems and difficult start-ups.
If the lawnmower is running low or shows difficulties in
starting, check the spark plug condition before making any
further inspections.
1. Remove the spark plug cap, unscrew the spark plug and
check that it is clean. If dirty, clean the soot with a brush;
2. If the spark plug is "wet", with excess fuel, place a clean
cloth over the spark plug hole and pull the recoil starter
several times without the spark plug installed;
3. Measure the distance between the electrodes with
appropriate tools. The distance should be between 0.7-
0.8 mm. If necessary, bend the electrode until enough
clearance is reached;
4. Install the spark plug with your hand to prevent damage
to the thread and tighten it to compress the sealing
washer, using the wrench provided;
5. If the spark plug does not produce any sparks, replace
it.
A loose spark plug may overheat and cause damage
to the engine.
Always use the type of spark plug recommended by
the manufacturer. The use of an incorrect spark plug
can damage the cylinder.
