Press the plus (+) button (3) to increase the set point.
The button gives an incremental increase in % of the
pressure transmitter / differential pressure transmitter
measurement range.
The button can be held down continuously for a greater
degree of adjustment.
Press the minus (-) button (4) to reduce the set point.
The button gives an incremental reduction in % of the
pressure transmitter / differential pressure transmit-
ter measurement range. The button can be held down
continuously for a greater degree of adjustment.
If the desired set point cannot be achieved, it may be
that the power limit has been reached and the desired
operating point for the installation is beyond the blow-
ers performance.
IMPORTANT: In automatic mode the value in the dis-
play is not related to the performance of the blower, but
merely an indication of the desired performance in the
installation. If the display oscillates between ACT, SET
and "901" value after 15 to 20 sec, it indicates that the
desired installation performance is out of reach for the
blower.
Service and maintenance:
All service, maintenance and repairs should be per-
formed by qualified or trained personnel.
Lubrication of the blower bearings
For Hoyer motors:
After each 1.500 hours of operation, the bearings
needs to be filled with 25 grams of grease in the
blower end, and 20 grams of grease in the opposite
end (see marking on the motor).
The grease shall be high quality lithium grease, NLGI
class 2 or 3, with a temperature range of -40 to +150
°C, e.g. Klüber Klübersynth BHP 72-102.
For Nidec motors:
The motor bearings are lubricated from the factory and
do not require additional lubrication.
The blower rotor is mounted directly on the motor shaft,
thus there are no bearings in the blower.
Make sure that there is always an unobstructed flow of
cooling air to the Multiair blower motor and control box.
Clean the grid by the cool air intake to the motor, and
the filters in the control box, for any impurities.
The filters are located on the cooling fan and in the op-
posite side of the cabinet. The filters should be cleaned
when necessary, using pressurized air or water. In case
water is used, the filter should be dry prior to instal-
lation. In case the filters are very dirty / clogged, they
should be replaced. Ensure correct fitting when putting
back the filter.
Once a year, the following maintenance should be
performed:
•
Visual inspection of all pipe connections, covers
and electrical connections/cables, to ensure attach-
ment and tightness.
•
Ensure that all electrical connections are tightened
properly.
•
Ensure that the cooling fan is running at full speed,
and possibly also remove any dust deposits from
the fan and filter.
To inspect and possibly clean the filters, do as follows:
1 - press both clips to release the plastic frame.
2 - remove the frame.
3 - remove the filter, and clean if necessary.
Reinstall in reverse order.
