Remove the Li-ion battery 38, and push the charged and/or uncharged
replacement Li-ion battery GT821 into the battery-operated clipping
machine i, see Fig. 2.

Note
The upper cutter plate 2 is changed two to three times per lower cutter
plate 1.

Handling the cutter head
Damage to the clipping machine or the cutter head
due to incorrect lubrication!

CAUTION
Only oil the cutter head when the machine is
running.

Never immerse the cutter head in liquid of any
kind!
►
Only use GT604 light lubricating oil.
Oiling hole a (eccentric bearing): apply 5-10 drops of oil for every
2 hours of operation, see Fig. A.
Oiling holes b and c: apply 5-10 drops of oil every 15 minutes.
Cutter plates 1 and 2 should be kept well-oiled at all times, the quan-
tity of oil used varying from animal to animal, see Fig. D.
Damage to the clipping machine or the gear wheel
due to incorrect lubrication!

CAUTION
Use only gear grease GT605.
►
Lubricate the gear wheel 1 to 2 times during the
shearing season.
Unlock and remove the Li-ion battery 38.
Remove both screws 6, see Fig. B.
Then turn the cutter head very slightly (about 15°) counterclockwise
and remove it from the motor shell.
Apply approximately 1 cm of grease on the two opposite points of the
gear wheel 10, see Fig. C.
Grease the inside of both the regulating nut 8 and the thrust bearing
sleeve 25.
Grease the clamping jaw shafts 3 and 5.
Unlock and remove the Li-ion battery 38.
Unscrew the regulating nut 8 until the upper cutter plate 2 can be
pulled out under the clamping jaws 3 and 5, see Fig. A.
Insert new cutter plate. Ensure that the tips d of the clamping jaws 3
and 5, as well as the lugs e and the retaining springs 4, engage prop-
erly with their respective borings in the upper cutter plate 2.
