1. For the dis- and assembling of the shock-
absorbers you should use the special tool-kit
KV401-06'400-A. (fig. 4)
2. Use the concerning (electronic) workshopmanual
for the torques and the dis- and assembling order.
3. Use springclamps at point 5 to 14.
4. Remove strut.
5. Remove mainspringseat, note position related to
shockabsorber tube.
6. Remove mainspring and buffer P.
7. Cut the dustcover from buffer P. Make the buffer P
to size 47mm according fig.1.
8. Fit the dustcover H on buffer P.
9. If neccassery, remove cup K (press fit) from the
shockabsorber. See fig. 2. The cup will not be
used again.
10. Put springseat B on the shockabsorber.
11. Place dustcover H and buffer P, fit dustcover H on
top of shockabsorber tube.
12. Place auxiliary-spring C.
13. Fit original metal cup in the springseat A en place
both on auxiliary spring C.
14. Fit mainspring and mainspringseat.
15. Fit strut.
