4. WLAN access point
An ‚access point' (AP) allows an additional WLAN network to be set up in your
home. Commonly, the access point will be wired into your home router or the
WLAN network video recorder.
The access point should be installed in an area where the WLAN signal is weak.
Often, this is close to the camera(s)/other connected WLAN devices in question.
5. dLAN
dLAN enables a network to be set up via your power supply. This entails the
installation of two components into one plug socket in the direct vicinity of the
WLAN network video recorder and the camera(s)/other connected WLAN devices.
The connection between the dLAN components and the WLAN network video re-
corder is established using a network cable, while the connection of the dLAN
components to the camera(s)/other connected WLAN devices can be achieved eit-
