Cutter
●
Daily upon completion of work you should clean the cutter and wipe it dry with a clean
dry cloth.
●
Carefully spread a bit of food vegetable oil on the cutter blade and uniformly distribute
it using a clean dry cloth.
●
To prevent corrosion the cutter should be sharpened daily.
Carriage guides
●
Move the carriage sideways against stop. Clean the carriage guides from dirt and old
lubricant using a clean dry cloth.
●
Apply the lubricant (vaseline oil) with a finger on the guides and spread it over the
surface. Move the carriage back and forth sometimes to uniformly distribute the
lubricant.
●
The carriage guides shall be lubricated at least once a week.
Product pusher pin
●
Clean the product pusher pin using a clean dry cloth.
●
Apply a bit of food vegetable oil on the pin. Move the pusher up and down some times
to uniformly distribute the oil on the pin surface.
●
The pusher pin shall be lubricated every day.
Sharpening device pin
●
Pull the sharpening device and clean the pin using a clean dry cloth.
●
Apply a bit of food vegetable oil on the pin.
●
Turn the sharpening device back and forth sometimes to uniformly distribute the oil on
the pin surface.
●
The sharpening device pin shall be lubricated everyday.
SHARPENING THE CUTTER
To prevent corrosion the cutter should be sharpened daily. Besides, sharpening of the
cutter is required upon appearance of irregular cross-sections or tearing of product slices.
1. Clean the machine and cutter thoroughly.

Pull the sharpening device and lubricate the pin.
Pull the sharpening device and turn it around an axis by 180°, lower the right

grindstone with a finger and set the sharpening device to the working position.

Make sure that the grindstone surface fits flush with the cutter blade. If required,
adjust position of the grindstone.

Turn on the power (put the male connector into the female socket) and switch the
equipment on using the power switch. Let the equipment operate for 1-2 minutes.
Switch the equipment off and verify whether the blade is sharpened properly. If
required, repeat the procedure.

Lower the left grindstone and make sure that its surface fits flush with the cutter
blade. Turn on the power for about 3 seconds to remove fins from the blade.

Switch the equipment off and turn off the power (put the male connector out of the
female socket).
