3. Remove bumper – Use panel removal tool to remove wire harness from the top of the bumper, one each side. Remove 3 M10 bolts and 1 M10 flangenut with a 17mm
socket from each side, set nuts aside for re-attachment, 2 each side. Return the bumper and bolts to the vehicle owner.
4. Install hitch – Raise the hitch into position over the bumper studs, install the factory nuts removed earlier. Apply blue thread locker and install the supplied M10 bolts
and conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) into remaining weldnuts each side. Fishwire 7/16" carriage bolts and spacers through the end of the frame rail and through
the attachment hole on the inside of the framerail (see Fig. 2), remove pullwire and loosely install conical washers and supplied 7/16" nuts, both sides. Attach the wire
harnesses to the top of the hitch brackets and zip tie into place.
